Matcha made simple

Enjoy a perfect cup of matcha with water, oat milk, soy milk, or coconut milk by following these simple steps: 

Ingredients: 

2 grams of ceremonial-grade matcha powder (about 1/2 to 1 teaspoon) 


40-50 ml of hot water (not boiling, ideally 75-80°C 150-200 ml of your choice of oat milk, soy milk, or coconut milk.

Instructions: 

1. Sift the Matcha: Use a small sifter to sift the matcha powder into a bowl or mug. This prevents clumps and ensures a smooth texture.

2. Whisk with Water: Add the hot water to the matcha. Use a bamboo whisk (chasen) or a small frother to whisk

3. Add Milk (Optional): If you prefer a latte, warm your choice of oat, soy, or coconut milk. Froth the milk for extra creaminess if desired, then pour it into your whisked matcha.

4. Drink as Tea (Optional): If you prefer to enjoy your matcha as a tea, simply add 150-200 ml of warm water to your whisked matcha and stir gently.

5. Sweeten (Optional): Add a touch of honey, maple syrup, or your favorite sweetener to taste.
